Syrian e- government
I have heard that there is something going on about a project called “e- syrian goverment” and “electronic signature” and my first impression was, these terms are big! too big for my country. because i have been using internet in Syria since 1999 and i have experienced all kind of connection problems in this country.
i couldn’t understand what was behind this project? do we really want it? do we know what it means? do we know what it takes to achieve it? and We refers to “Syrians”
i tried to make some research about some arab countries and their experience with e- government. i was really shocked and i will just pass this shock to you

and i stopped here to move to what “WE” have done? and i was shocked but that wasn’t the same shock. and i will try to pass this shock as well.

what i noticed right away that that there was nothing to show! people were just “TALKING” and there was no screen to show anything
i tried to find a website and this is what i got

a website that links to NOTHING! i only found 4 links on the left for private companies. and the website is returning script error
and if you search for Syrian Electronic government in Arabic you will get this result as 4th result

and it was another NOTHING page. and even worse! for a second i thought this page is something to do with a company called Automata 4. So why is it about this company in this page while I’m supposed to check my e-goverment website? and if this company doing this website (and i believe that they are getting paid for this work) so why are they telling me that they care about Syria and they are very good bla bla bla? are not you getting paid?
if this project is still under construction then there must be a link for staging! where people like me cant reach what i have reached. and this is like the very simple rule when you design a website. especially if this website is a government website.
