حتى لا يزاود علي الكثيرون فأنا لست علمانيا ولا أجحد حق العلماء… أنا ببساطة لا أفهم تصرفات من قضيت فترة طويلة من طفولتي أنتهل منهم العلم. شأني شأن الكثيرين من أبناء جيلي.
منذ فترة ليست بقليلة وأنا أسأل نفسي لماذا يلبس “الشيخ” لباسا يميزه عن باقي الشعب؟ لم أسمع أن الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم كان متميزا عن الصحابة في شيء. حتى أن رسول كسرى لم يستطع أن يميز عمر بن الخطاب أمير المؤمنين إلا عندما دله الناس عليه وعندما عرفه أسلم الرجل لعمق فكرة عدم التمييز في الاسلام. ألم تسقط فكرة أن البنطلون هو رجس من عمل الشيطان؟؟ إن لم تسقط ألم تعد سخيفة؟
كما سألت الكثير من الأسئلة عن مدى وعي “المشايخ” لما يقولون… فعندما كنت صغيرا فتى المشايخ ببساطة بتحريم التلفزيون. ولا أعرف فيما إذا فتوا بتحريم الانترنت… كما أن الأسئلة الكثيرة التي سألتها للشيخ بحكم أني أردت معرفة “الرأي الشرعي” فيها وضحت لي أني أريد أن اسأل “من لايعرف” على “مالا يعرف” ببساطة شديدة ماذا يعرف الشيخ عن التعاملات التجارية على الانترنت؟ ماذا يعرف عن المضاربة الجدية على الأسواق المالية على الانترنت؟ هل المفروض علي أن أقوم بدورة مكثفة للشيخ لكي يستوعبها فورا ثم يقوم باعطائي فتوى؟؟
اما بالنسبة لامتهان المشيخة فسورة ياسين آية واضحة تقول “يا قوم اتبعوا المرسلين اتبعوا من لا يسألكم عليه أجرا”
هل من يسكن الجامع فهو عالم؟ هل يحق لي مناقشة الشيخ؟ الم يعزل الشيخ نفسه كفاية عن المجتمع لدرجة أنه أصبح لا ينتمي إليه؟ ماهي مدخلات المشايخ في مجتماتنا؟ ماذا يفعلون؟ غير الصلاوات الخمس وتدبر القرآن؟ هل يجب على الأمة أن تدفع المال لمن يريد أن يتدبر القرآن؟؟
ما أثار غضبي لدرجة لا أستطيع تحملها هو موقف المشايخ الذي أقل ما يوصف به بأنه سلبي مما يحدث في سوريا. فمهنم من آثر أن يحدثنا عن فوائد الصيام النفسية ومنهم من قرر أن يشرح لنا الفرقان فهو فرق, يفرق, فرقا فهو فرقان… أين علمه الذي أنهل منه إذا لم يحدثني بأموري اليومية؟ يا اخي ان كانت فتنة فاشرح لي ما وجه الفتنة فيها! وان كانت حقا ثورة فاشرح لي ماوجه الثورة فيها! وان كانت خروجا على الحاكم فاشرح لي ذلك! لكن أن تسكت وتختبئ مهما كانت أسبابك فهذا عيب وقلة مروءة… هناك طبعا من العلماء من أصدر البيانات الكثيرة ووضحوا وجهة نظرهم ورأيهم في الموضوع. من لم يتعرض للموضوع فلا يستحق احترامي… والأفضل أن يسقط من عين نفسه فقد سقط من أعيننا حتى لو لم نقلها صراحة
انا مابدي احكي عن شي ما شفتو لأني الموضوع صار فيو تأويل بشكل خيالي. ولا عالدنيا ولا عالجزيرة. بس فعلا عندي سؤال موجه للي بدعموا النظام بشكل قاطع. انو ليش لا الدولة ولا اللي بدعموا النظام عبنزعجوا من هلوضع بحلب؟ وليش لما بطلع من جامع الرضوان بلاقي عسكر مدروزين درز وتكاسي قاعدين فيا قطاعين طرق بالشهباء بس ليعفسوا اللي ممكن يخطر عبالو يفتح تمو. وبالمقابل ناس عبتمشي بطرق مخالفة وبسرعة خيالية وعبتزمر وعبتشفط وكل يوم كل يوم.
يعني كمثال صغير: اذا انا عبسوق وطلعلي واحد حيطط صورة الرئيس واتدايقت من سواقتو وفرضا عيطت او شي. الزلمة ممكن يصف بنص الشارع وينزل يعملي قتلة ومو بعيدة الناس تساعدو كمان
يعني مو معقول إني احشد الحشود تحسبا لحدا ممكن يساوي شي. وإني اترك ناس فلتانين بالشوارع. عبحكي من مبدأ حفظ النظام طبعا.
اللي بتوقعو من المسؤولين بحلب بس بتوقعو من المؤيدين أكتر إنو يعملو شكوى إنو يعملو اتصالاتون ويحاولو يوقفو هلشي.
انا هاد الشي شايفو بعيني لا سمعتو عالدنيا ولا عالجزيرة. هوه مثال بسيط بس بشرح واقع عام. وفهمكم كفاية
I couldn’t let it go like this… yesterday Internet was “down” in Syria.
i checked my mobile for new emails around 6 am and got nothing. I was like i hate GPRS and went back to sleep.
around 8 am i checked again and got nothing… i was like let me try twitter and it didn’t connect. i decided to sleep more its Friday.
at 10 am breakfast was about to be ready. so i decided to sneak to the office quickly (since it 10 minutes away from home) and come back. i arrive to the office and here was all the shock… NO INTERNET
i restarted the router 10 times with no luck. so i decided to play chess until ”they” connect it back. in shami “daj hajari” and i didnt know what to do. i sent some messages to see whether its only me and apparently it was cut in the whole city.
after prayer internet was still down and my brother said that he heard at Aljazeera that internet is down in Damascus and Lattakia as well.
NOW what shall i do… i played Redalert for about an hour or so and played chess again and waisted time as much as i can but its still 7 pm!!
i tried to restart the router again and hoping “they” feel sorry for me and bring it back. bas mafi amal
my brother wanted to make a statement ”it shows how attached we became to internet and we cant even live without it. i think this is wrong” i was so bored and didnt have the energy to argue but i couldn’t shut up and said: its not about wrong and right its a life style and its not a game to quit. internet became a very important source of many things.
i decided to go home around 11 to watch news and sleep. i think i fell a sleep before midnight.
تحت عنوان “الرئيس الأسد يجتمع بـ 30 رجل أعمال” قرأت هذا المقال. ولم أفهم الغاية من اللقاء
فاذا كان الاساس من الطلب الشعبي هو القضاء على الفساد وتغيير الحكومة كان لنفس الغاية. الا يعني هذا البحث عن شركاء جدد؟ عن رجال أعمال”شباب” بدل اللقاء مع بعض المهترئين والمحنطين الذين كانوا يدا بيد وشركاء استراتيجيين للحكومات وليس الحكومة السابقة فقط.
لا أستطيع أن أفهم ما يمكن أن يقدمه هؤلاء من إضافة. أنا لا أتوقع أصلا أن يحسوا بأن هناك ما يجب فعله لتحسين البلد. كيف يمكن أن يحسن البلد من أناس لا يحسوا بالمعاناة!؟
قد يكونوا للكثيرين رواد اقتصاديين ومن أهم الواجهات الاقتصادية لسوريا. لكني بالتأكيد وبرأي صغير لا أراهم بمستقبل سوريا بأي حال من الأحوال.
فأنا ومع احترامي لهم جميعا أحس بأني احتاج لوقت طويل لكي اخلق جسر فكري بيني وبينهم قبل أن أبدأ الحديث معهم. فنحن لا ننتمي لنفس الزمان ولا الفكر ولا الرؤية. أنا أشك اصلا أن احدا منهم قد سمع بالتويتر مثلا (لأن الفايس بوك معروف بسوريا) قبل شهر.
ألا يحق لنا بسوريا أن نسمع برجال أعمال جدد؟ فأنا مللت سماع أسماء العوائل النبيلة والسلالات الشريفة.
مشكلتنا نحن الشباب أننا نريد من هؤلاء أن يسعدوا بحياة مستقرة ويرتاحوا. لأننا نريد أن نتعب ونريد أن نرسم مستقبلنا بدون هذه النظرة التي ينظرها لنا هؤلاء وامثالهم (انتوا شو فهمكن؟) يا اخي شكرا…. شكر الله سعيكم
Revolution is difficult. And what happened in Egypt wasn’t an easy one. blood, fear and mystery were all involved.
But Egyptians couldn’t let it go without adding their spices. it looked fun to us (people behind screen) but it wasn’t like that at all. Any Egyptian can make you smile regardless of his suffering. Imagine 1 million Egyptian in one place??
What happened in Jan 2011 touched our hearts deep down.
I’m thinking if we can do something to make what happened remarkable and unforgettable.
Once i was in London and everyone was putting this Poppy which is called a remembrance day and it really touched me.
Here is my suggestion and i hope it can work out:
@humeid@RobaAssi can design something we can put on our clothes, twiiter, websites and everything. and we can actually do it every January to make the whole world and even next generation remember what happened. for inspiration i might think of these keywords: Sidibuzid, Tahrir Square, Social Network and many things. i’m sure Roba and Humeid are better than me in this field.
@fadig@samihtoukan@abdulhaykal@maherkaddoura@hiconomics and I can hopefully work on executing the idea and finance it. My manufacturing background tells me its not difficult to do something similar to the poppy for clothing. And i don’t think it will cost much.
I wish we can make it happen and let me know if you can add to the idea

Last week was very interesting… everyone at the beginning thought that the opposition was behind it. And the typical reaction from the government was like: let’s catch the bastards!
But out of the sudden nothing changed what already started.
One thing I love about what happened in Egypt EVEN if Mubarak stays. The whole Arab world will understand that we (the new geeky generation) are different!
For decades everyone in our Arab world believed in “blocking” theme. The government blocks their people from knowing, learning and expressing. Even the family man blocks his children from knowing, trying and expressing until we started to experience and exercise everything blocked. And until the “geeks revolution” in Egypt started people in the Arab world was thinking that we don’t know and we CAN’T know. Please know that we know!
Dear governments, oppositions and parents let me explain briefly what we are capable to do:
We can communicate with other young Arabs as easy as picking up the phone and calling a friend and maybe easier
We know understand and speak the international language
We can be modern, educated and civilized and if you think that we have to live abroad to do it, you are mistaken! Big time!
We can verify any information we hear or read. Believe me, faster than what you can imagine!
We can LEARN faster than ever because we are hungry to learn
If you spend some time to understand us it will be much easier than trying to force us to live the stone age you are living at

Twitter #jan25 were created so we can follow the even
Huge amount of visitors visited Facebook pages and #jan25 was trending on twitter
Finally we aren’t living in a different world. Welcome to our world oldies!

@sdarine the first tweep i got to know from Lebanon. She doesn’t miss an even in the MENA area. If she doesn’t attend she will probably tweet everything about the event. she will always keep you up to date
@RobaAssi I always wanted to have good Graphic Designers in the Arab World. She was the first REALLY good graphic designer i got to know through twitter. and through her i found out there are plenty of them and @Humeid is a fahman one beside that her tweets are different. the girl got a taste!
@afahad definitely my favorite tweep. I wish i got to meet him more. i had one great conversation with him before he leaves Aleppo. i like his view of the internet growth in the middle east. He loves technology but he is one very few people who support to deal with technology and keep our identity.
@N00R One hell of a developer. sometimes i feel like his tweets are too much for me I’m happy that i got to know him personally
@hiconomics friend and partner. on twitter he tries his best to do something for Syria/Syrians. he connects with everything related to Syria and offer help. he shares much of his experience and knowledge he got in the west to put it back to his country
