Hajj and Omra like i never thought of them before!

في الأيام الأخيرة سمعت الكثير ممن حولي يقولون أنهم يريدون بعض الراحة, يريدون أن يرتاحوا من ضغوط هذه الحياة. منهم من يفكر في تغيير عمله بسبب ظرف مر به أو تجربة جعلته ينظر للحياة من منظور مختلف.

في الحقيقة ان الراحة أو ما يسمى ب”تغيير الجو” مناسب لأي منا. وبما أنني أعتقد أن الاسلام قد وجد حلا لمشاكل الانسان الاساسية. فقلت في نفسي كيف عسى أن يكون الاسلام قد تعاطى مع هذه المشكلة؟

فكرت فورا في حديث عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول ” إن القلوب لتصدأ كما يصدأ الحديد قلنا وما جلاؤها يا رسول الله؟ قال: تلاوة القرآن وذكر الموت” (لم أستطع ايجاد سند الحديث لكنني أتذكر هذا اللفظ)

كثيرا ما حاول الفلاسفة والمفكرون الابتعاد عن هذه الحياة لفترة. إما بخلوة أو بالابتعاد عن الاماكن المأهولة بالسكان. لكي يصفوا إلى نفوسهم. بعض الناس قد تسافر لكي تحاول جلي القلب. وبعضهم لا يجدون مخرجا إلا الانخراط في الحياة ونسيان ما يجلي القلب…

الانسان بطبيعته يفكر بأن ما يقوم باختراعه يحتاج دائما لصيانة وتحديث. قد يكون الكومبيوتر من أقوى الأمثلة. دائما ما ترى زر التحديث. دائما ما تكون هذه الفكرة في داخلنا! أننا إذا أعدنا تشغيل الكومبيوتر سيكون أفضل. لأنه سيقوم بمحي كل ما هو موجود حاليا في الذاكرة والبدء من جديد

وهنا لم أستطع إلا أن أبحث عن طريقة معالجة الاسلام لتحديث الانسان (نحن قمنا بايجاد طرق لتحديث ما اخترعناه) فبلا شك أن الله قد قدم لنا ما يفيدنا ويحدثنا. لكن من الداخل!

فجأة خطرت على بالي العمرة والحج. واحسست أن الجواب هنا. بعد قليل من التفكير. وجدت ضالتي. ووجدت ابداع الخالق. فما أجمل من هكذا تحديث؟

نبدأ بلبس ثياب لا شكل لها. لا تفصيل! بدون أي ماركة! وبدلا من أفكارنا بالهروب من الناس. قام الخالق بجمعنا. لكن بشكل مختلف! قام بجمعنا سوية وبدون تمييز! من كل البلدان ومن كل الأجناس. وبقليل من التفكير وجدت أن كل تفصيل صغير في العمرة والحج هي رسالة بحد ذاتها.

نلبس ما يقي جسمنا من الحر ويستر عورتنا فقط! نمشي حفايا لننسى أي شيء آخر… قد يمشي الأمير خارج الحرم مع أقل الناس خارج الحرم… لكن يمشون سواسية. ويقومون بتأدية نفس الحركات والطقوس. يأخذنا الله إليه في بضعة أيام… ليهزنا بقوة ويذكرنا أن ما خارج هذا الحرم لا شيء! وأن جبروتنا وقوتنا والظلم الذي نلقاه خارج هذا الحرم لاشيء! ما نقوم به في هذه اللحظة هو كل شيء!

ثم ننتهي من مناسكنا وقد انجلت قلوبنا. وعدنا إلى الحياة بنظرة مختلفة! نظرة جعلتنا ننظر إلى الحياة من المنظار الصحيح! إلى أن نعود لذلك المكان ثانية. لأننا دائما ما نحتاج إلى ريفريش

Lately I started to heat a lot of people around me saying that they want to rest down. They want to leave everything behind them and clear up their mind and heart. Some of them actually wanted to change their job because of a situation they experienced. It made them see life from a different perspective.

In fact, to rest is good for all of us. And because I think that Islam found all solutions for Human basic needs. I said to myself: how did Islam deal with this?

I always thought of a Hadeeth of Rasoul Allah Salla Allah Alaihi wa Sallam saying: “Hearts Rust like Iron and reading Quran cleans it as well as speaking of death regularly” I couldn’t find the source of this Hadeeth but I remember the words

Human being think that what he invests need to reset. And computer in this case might be the best example. We always see the refresh button. Its always inside us! if we restart the computer it will perform better. Because it will just delete everything in the memory and start over.

And I couldn’t here not to search for how Islam dealt with it to refresh us human being (we found ways to refresh what we invented) then God with no doubt provided us what can reset us but from the inside!

Haj and Omra suddenly came across my mind, and I felt the answer is there. I thought for a bit then I found it! I found the ultimate creativity by our creator! What a beautiful reset button!?

We start by wearing clothes have no shape, no brand! And instead of running away from people. He put everyone together! But not the same way it is outside. People all similar and equal. I found that every small detail in Haj and Omra is a message by itself.

We wear what protects our body from sun and what covers our body with the minimum! We walk shoesless! To forget everything… a price (outside the Ka’ba where he belongs) can walk with a normal man (outside the Ka’ba where he belongs) can walk together! Head to head! And do the same exact thing. God is actually taking us to him for few days… to shake us badly and remind us that what is outside the ka’ba is NOTHING! Our strength and greatness and all injustice we face outside is NOTHING! What we are actually doing at the moment is EVERYTHING!

And then we finish our Haj or Omra and our hearts have been refreshed and reset. And we are back to life with a different perspective! The right perspective! Until we come back again, because we are gona need a reset again
